About TEK-Cases (DIY Acrylic Case)
TEK-cases are DIY cases designed specifically with modders in mind. Various options for colors and button configurations allow for endless combinations to make a unique case.
** Please Note: Due to the server issues and lost web content from a couple of weeks ago, this area is still being rebuilt. This section will be updated with more information as I have time to update it.
If this is the first time you've heard about these cases, let me direct your attention to my Shoryuken.com thread for starter information : SRK Thread.
Thanks for your patience as I clean everything up. -Art
Here is my YouTube video on how the case is put together.
Version A and B : Which is for you?
Some of you are wondering what is the difference between the version A and B cases. Simply put, Version B adds a little more top support. Instead of an inner top border for Version A, Version B has a support layer.
While the acrylic top panel is pretty durable, if you find yourself to be rather hard on the buttons and top of your stick, you may consider Version B for the extra layer support. However, even with the layer support, you shouldn't go crazy and slam on it. This is after, an acrylic case... not hard wood or metal.
If you feel you're a light to medium button tapper, then Version A should suffice.
I will try to go into more details on this section at a later time.
